The founder of The Law Offices of Tony Y. Kim, P.C. is a native-born citizen and a son of immigrants. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Kim was blessed with the opportunity of growing up in one of America’s most culturally diverse cities.
Mr. Kim received a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University with a major in Political Science, specializing in International and Comparative Politics. He obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Indiana University School of Law—Bloomington, concentrating in International Law.
For ten years, Mr. Kim has been practicing solely in the field of immigration and nationality law. Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Kim worked at the U.S. Department of Labor and a global immigration law firm.
Mr. Kim is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He holds law licenses in Illinois, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia and thus is licensed to practice federal law in any of the 50 states. Because immigration law is federal law, Mr. Kim is licensed to practice immigration law in all 50 states.
